Guest tutor EOIs are now open.

Goldfields Piping Weekend is the Club's much-anticipated annual signature event, typically attracting up to 30 participants from across Australia to bring a focus to uilleann pipes, Scottish smallpipes and other kinds of pipes, drawing on inspirations from allied traditions and practices. Examples of past programs can be found on pages within this website.

Celtic Piping Club is currently seeking expressions of interest for guest tutor-performer/s at the 2027 weekend, with a particular interest in specialisation in lowland/border/9-note pipes. The Club is able to offer a modest fee plus meals, accommodation and assistance with local transport. The Club can also support the piper in securing extra performances while in Australia. Unfortutnely the Club is unable to make a significant contribution towards international travel fares, but is able to provide letter of support for visa and/or grant applications.
