Welcome to the Celtic Piping Club Inc.
Thank you for becoming a member of the Club. Your support will assist us to continue providing a variety of exciting events and activities for people who play or are interested in the various types of Celtic pipes.
Aims of the Celtic Piping Club
To generate opportunities for individuals and groups to play or experience Celtic bagpipes.
To develop community and fellowship around appreciation of Celtic bagpipes and music.
To encourage the study, practice, performance and development of the musical repertoire.
To promote the development of Celtic bagpipes and piping in Australia.
Key activities of the Celtic Piping Club
To develop and promote a programme of piping gatherings and events, e.g. sessions, concerts, guest players/makers.
To facilitate and encourage tutoring/learning opportunities.
To provide piping resources including online information, music & reference books, pipes for loan or hire, and membership of allied organisations.
To maintain a database of participants/members.
To distribute regular communiqués regarding Celtic piping in Australia to members and the wider piping community.
Your Membership Benefits Include
Supporting the operation and activities of the Club, to which we sincerely thank you. Without your support, the Club would not be able to provide the service or host the variety of activities currently enjoyed by members and the greater Celtic piping community.
Eligibility to vote at the Celtic Piping Club AGM (except Associate members - under the age of 15 years).
Discounted entry to Club events.
Public liability insurance cover up to $ 20m when involved in any Club activities. Insurance cover is provided through AON.
Eligibility for a special baggage allowance deal when flying with Virgin Australia for Club events. You will need to contact the Club secretary for details at least one week prior to utilising this benefit. Membership Term
Membership is valid from 1 July to 30 June, aligning with the Club's financial year. We will notify you within 30 days of membership expiry with a reminder to renew your membership.
